An old dying king told his son that he wanted to see him married before he died. The son replied that he wasn’t in love, but the king told him that would come in time and didn’t matter, that he should choose a couple of women and see what happened. The son agreed to take a bride when he returned from war to please his father and decided a test to pick a woman. He went to the three women he thought suitable and gave them 20 gold coins to do with them as they wished while we was away. Upon returning from war a year later the prince visited each of the women to see what became of their coin. The first was unsure what he expected so she saved it all in a safe where it awaited him, the second invested all the money and became quite wealthy enabeling her to return his coin ten-fold, the third woman gave it away to the poor helping the needy in the kingdom. Which of these women did the prince choose to marry?
